Google has finally launched the most awaited Android version 8.0 which ich is called as Oreo, The Mountain-view based company continued its tradition by naming its operating software after desserts. The latest version of the Android is claimed to be the faster, smoother, and much sweeter than ever as compared to its previous generation based operating versions. The Android Oreo packs some powerful features such as picture in picture mode, autofill on your favourite apps, support for android instant apps and much more.

Picture in Picture:- Picture in Picture on Android 8.0 an above will enable users to seamlessly work with other apps while watching videos, which will float atop.Users can easily enjoy the access to both videos and other apps, with Android oreo.

Android Instant Apps:- Android Instant Apps will enable users to update to the latest version of a new app without downloading the app fresh. This will be possible only for apps that are designed by the Android Instant Apps guidelines. If you care about your favourite app, encourage your developer to adopt the new tech.

Android Oreo will remember all vital information to enable the login process smooth, all at the request of the user. In addition to this, Android Oreo powered devices will now boot up twice faster.

Adaptive Badges, Icons:- The Google Pixel Launcher brought adaptive icons, and now Android supports them systemwide and natively.Options can be given for different shaped masks that define the outside border (think squircles) and icons can be animated. Adaptive icons will be supported in the launcher, shortcuts, device Settings, sharing dialogues, and the app overview screen. Google has built this out in a way that’s easy for developers. They provide an icon as normal and a background, and the system stitches them together using a mask that the home launcher defines. Additionally, new icons support badges for new content. Called “Notification Dots” they are a lot like badges we’ve seen before. Google adds things like a preview pane from the home screen you can access from the icon shortcut as well as app-exclusive shortcuts, such as replying to a message.
